Moving can be stressful, as we all know, and out-of-town moving efforts introduce additional factors that can add stress to the moving process. JOG Moving wants to help you with your logistics, and plan for a smoother and more stress-free moving experience.

Grand Junction to Denver, or vise versa?

Professional movers representing JOG Moving have been assisting clients between the Western Slope and the Front Range of Colorado now more than ever, especially since moves between the two regions are more commonplace today.

Take advantage of JOG Moving's services in the Grand Valley and its resources in the Denver area to help with your move, not to mention the trips in between! Our linkage between resources in both areas have resulted in client savings when it comes to a move over the mountain passes.

Cost of out-of-town moving

  • 2-HOUR MINIMUM: but still hourly based on crew size.
  • MOVING PIANO/GUN SAFE: $45 add-on fee
  • TRAVEL TIME: (round trip)/rates vary based on distance. (Less than 5 hours - 70% the hourly rate. 5 or more hours - 50% the hourly rate)
  • FUEL/VEHICLE: Flat fee (depends on vehicle and distance)

Things to know

  • AVAILABILITY: JOG Moving enjoys assisting with out-of-town moves, however sometimes our movers are busier than usual with in-town efforts and are not available to travel outside the valley on a given day.
  • WHAT TYPE OF OUT-OF-TOWN SERVICE? Just because it's an "out-of-town" move, doesn't mean it has to be from house to house. Our movers will travel out of town to help you with any of the moving services that we normally provide.
  • DEPOSITS: JOG Moving generally requests deposits for out-of-town moves prior to leaving city limits. Advanced payments for services are typically 1/3 to 1/2 the projected cost of the move.
